In 1 Corinthians, Paul lays a heavy charge against members of the church – you were fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate, homosexual… You were thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, swindlers…. You were unrighteous, unable to enter the kingdom of God!

You π’˜π’†π’“π’† these things. 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆!

Be Encouraged!

For an amazing thing occurs when we accept Christ – we are irrevocably, amazingly changed; the ultimate sin – refusing to acknowledge God’s Christ – is resolved, and we are π‘“π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘”π‘–π‘£π‘’π‘› our sins. The things we did outside of Christ no longer hang over us, for now β€œin Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins”!

There is now 𝐧𝐨 condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, those who have agreed and professed with their mouths Jesus as Lord and believed in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead!

Not only that, but God gave us a very great promise – that if we confess our sins, He is π’‡π’‚π’Šπ’•π’‰π’‡π’–π’ and 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 to forgive us our sins, not only that but He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness!! What an amazing promise, and that from the only One who has the power to truly forgive!

Read more of this great forgiveness in 1 Corinthians 6, Ephesians 1, Romans 8, Romans 10, 1 John 1.
